Adopt a Puppy from Big Rock Labradoodles

Description

All Big Rock Babies, regardless of colour or size, are $3,300(plus g.s.t.). A deposit of $500 (plus g.s.t.) is required to hold a spot on any of our waiting lists.

THE ADOPTION PROCESS

  1. First, we want to learn about you! We require that you fill out and send in our Adoption Application Form.

  2. Once we receive your application, we will review it and get back to you. We'll discuss upcoming litters with you, and let you know about our current waiting list.

  3. When you're ready to say 'yes!' to add one of our Wonderful Woofies to your family, we require a non-refundable reservation fee of $500, plus g.s.t. This secures your place on the waiting list for the litter of your choosing. The reservation fee can be paid via e-mail transfer to alanathebreeder@gmail.com.  Once we have receipted your reservation fee, you will receive a receipt.

  4. We will email you when your puppy is born, and let you know what to expect in the weeks to come.  You will receive weekly updates on the litter's development and progress, as well as weekly photos of each puppy in the litter.

  5. When your puppy is 3 weeks old, we'll ask you to provide more information about your lifestyle, personalities, and expectations for your puppy by filling out our Puppy Personality Poll. This information, in addition to your original application, will help us to best match you with a puppy, once we have completed temperament testing which is done at 7 weeks of age.

  6. The final payment of $2,800, plus g.st. ($2,940) is required when the puppy is 6 weeks old.  We will send out an invoice after 6 week puppy visitations.

  7. At 6 weeks, we will have a 'Meet the Puppies' Day.  You will be asked to book a day and time within a specified weekend for you and your family to come to our home to meet and play with all the puppies, meet their momma, ask all your questions, and pick up your puppy kit if you ordered one.

  8. We perform confirmation and temperament testing at 7 weeks of age, after which your puppy will be allocated to you.  You will receive an e-mail introducing you to your new family member.

  9. Between 8-9 weeks, the wait is finally over and the puppies are ready to leave us. You will be given a pick-up date and time to come and collect your new Wonderful Woofie!

In the event that we cannot provide you with a puppy or if you cannot take a puppy at the time of availability, you can switch litters or wait until the timing is better for you. The reservation fee is non-refundable unless we are, for some reason, unable to provide you with a puppy.

Check out this video to see our last day with the X-Men litter from Big Rock North! So sad to see all of our litters go, but always looking forward to seeing the excited families picking up their new family member! This video shows some playtime with mom before bed.
