About Us
At the time, Steve was working in the oil and gas industry and completing his MBA and Nicole was a stay at home mom to their son Andrew. After their second child, Neil, was born, it became more and more apparent to Nicole that Edmonton could really benefit from a place for the younger ones. A place where friends could go to meet, have coffee, and know that their children were having fun in a safe, clean environment. The best part of this concept was that once you are done visiting and playing, you get to leave and someone else cleans up!
When Steve was laid off in May of 2010, they realized it was now or never. It was then that they really began to put their ideas together and began building their dream. Café O'Play opened it's doors December 6, 2010.
