Doris Charest – Biography Painting is a passion that has engulfed Doris Charest’s life. She loves exploring with textures, shapes, and a more contemporary look. Capturing nature in a way that the camera cannot is her goal. The American Magazine: Sommerset Studio and the British Magazine: Leisure Painter have both featured Doris Charest’s work. She won the Sylvie Brabant award in 2011 for her work in the art community. In 2017 her work is featured in ‘Oh West Canada’ by Imago Mundi. She teaches workshops both online and in person.
