Frequently Asked Questions
FAQ #1
Why do I crave or like sugar so much?
Sugar, sugar and more sugar; it’s all around us! Sugar is one of the strongest food addictions we have and no surprise when you consider that just about everything we eat has some form of sugar in it.
Aside from the negative impact sugar can have on us, the important question is why do we crave sugar so much?
Like all foods we eat, the goal is to generate energy for ourselves. Sugar as a fuel affects our blood sugars very quickly and in turn our energy levels.
So, in reverse, our energy levels are consistently driven by our blood sugars and our blood sugars are greatly impacted by the food we choose to eat and even more so by foods with high sugar content.
Like all cravings that we experience it’s one thing when you can control it yourself but quite another thing altogether when the cravings control you! To address this issue I need to find out WHEN you crave sugar? Do you crave it after lunch, mid-afternoon, after supper or all day?
Like all things when you crave something strongly this usually indicates a deficiency in another area.

FAQ #2
Why is it so hard for me to fall asleep tonight?
This is a very common problem. The main reason people find it difficult to fall asleep tonight stems from the fact that they can’t seem to shut their minds off; and again, this has more to do with blood sugars and food choices. When your blood sugars are elevated, you’ll find it difficult to fall asleep much the same (but in the opposite way) as when you’re tired at 3 PM in the afternoon due to low blood sugars.
There are a number of herbs that can help you with your blood sugars as well as your sleep. It’s just a matter of finding out what’s right for you so you can get that quality sleep, feel refreshed in the morning and be truly ready for your day. Shutting your mind off naturally is just an herb away!

FAQ #3
Why are my neck and shoulders so tight?
This is something all of us have experienced at one time or another while others have to deal with this on a daily basis. Massage, analgesic creams, pain relievers can all help but sometimes only providing temporary relief. If you don’t know what the root cause is and what your body is missing nutritionally, then you end up suffering needlessly like so many others. Neck and shoulder tension is a sign of stress buildup. As stress accumulates and remains unresolved, you’ll start to notice multiple symptoms such as clenching your jaw, eye fatigue, headaches and lower back tension.
As you move through these symptoms your body is going to experience a stronger deficiency in this important nutrient, to the point where you’ll start to feel muscle fatigue, soreness and muscle inflammation. The reason for all of this is that your liver is one of the most sensitive organs to stress and the liver in Chinese medicine corresponds to your muscles, tendons and ligaments.
Next time you feel your muscles are aching or too tight, remember your liver is missing something very important, if you want to feel more relax solution is simpler than you think.

FAQ #4
Why do I wake up feeling stiff in the morning?
Nothing predetermines how our day is going to be than the quality of our sleep. Unfortunately merely laying down to sleep for eight hours doesn’t always guarantee you’ll feel refreshed in the morning. If you swapped out your pillows so many times for the next best one, I’m here to share with you that your stiff neck and muscles that greet you in the a.m. is directly related to a nutritional deficiency.
The perfect pillow or mattress, although important, is only a fraction of the answer you are looking for.
Just like taking multi-vitamins in the morning to prevent deficiencies from occurring, there is something you can take before bed to prevent you from feeling stiff in the morning.
Instead of just going to sleep and hoping to feel rested, why not nourish your body and make a difference in how you feel when you get up in the morning. How many more sleeps to trū SLEEP?
